Sensational Sinclair

Great location and beautiful home. It needs a little TLC as I’m guessing it’s still partly being fixed up, but great work on the renovations so far. Would love to come back!

We had such a great time here! The house was perfect for us. We had two toddlers, so the yard was a huge plus and gave them plenty of space to play. This would be a great house for families with older kids as well. The location was great, and we were also impressed with how well-equipped the kitchen was. Our only disappointment was that half of the dock was damaged and taped off when we arrived, which was a little disappointing because my husband loves to fish. Other than that, we had an amazing stay and would definitely come back! If the dock was repaired, this would easily be a 10/10 stay!

This was a good choice for our family mini-vacation, but it was a bit small for 8 adults, two small kids and a baby. Also, the dock was in need of repair. Since we were not interested in boating, that was not a big issue for us, but it would have been nice to be able to sit out on the dock if we wanted. The windows in the main room give a spectacular view of the lake, but can be a bit daunting since they face west and the sun comes in pretty strongly in the late afternoon. I am one of the few people in the world (apparently) who do not like farmhouse sinks, so if you are also one, bring a dishpan. The property is nicely located about 20 minutes from Milledgeville, which is a charming college town. We liked the area and will visit again.
